From luxurious to economical accommodations ...
khao San:
If your staying by Khao San Rd. in Bangkok I like staying at New My House Guest House. Good place to stay a Backpackers area. single room 220 Baht per night room with fan toilet and shower.for much more you can stay at New Siam River Front Hotel Bangkok around 45usd a night. The back side faces the Chao Phraya River, this hotel is on the street side or in back of the guest house where i stay very close. Ive stayed her in past it is nice get non smoking 3 floor with big picture window to see the river at night its very cool to watch the barges and boats. Also like to mention they have river Taxis . Try it out when there. Many things to do in this area and easy to get around taxi tuk tuk. never haggle with Taxi you'll probably loose always use meter for taxi can never go wrong. tuk tuk haggling is always a must. tuk tuks are fun to ride in but the exhaust from cars at times can be a bit overwhelming when sitting at a stop light or in traffic.
Cocoville Phuket Chalong Area:
Cocoville is always a nice place to stay its just off the main road of all the camps walking distance to all of them. This is one of the better a bit more expensive with good food nice people free internet and or wi fi to stay.
cost is high but to some worth it like 40 usd a night Book on line agoda or Booking .com or whom ever you wish. They have two pools and this place is very tropical rooms are big .
500 baht key deposit is some of the places not all.
Just remember to get it back.
Mamas Chalong Area:
Mamas is a good inexpensive place to stay again book on line use whom ever you wish to book rooms. They are off the main road as well but walking distance to all camps. Mamas has good food most people go there to eat and watch fights. good prices on food. they also have fresh juices made to order if you like.
They have a pool as well not the best but good.
Floraville Chalong Area:
This is where i stayed this year 700 baht a night last year it was 500 baht a night This place has good food and a nice pool room was good I had no complaints they always cleaned room. They are on the main road and close to TMT a little walk to Phuket Top Team. very close to Dragan Muay Thai Everyone's prices gone up . This area used to be inexpensive now with the camps and everyone moving to this street prices go up because of the foreigners bringing money and they know you have it.
but they have to make a living too.
This area has grown so much and new shops spas opening up all the time this street is going to be flooded thanks to TMT, Phuket Top Team, Dragan Muay Thai oh and GSP coming to TMT. prices and more people coming out to train.

There are more places to stay off the main road Soi Ta-Iad just use your favorite hotel Booking site and look up hotel or accommodations Soi Ta-Iad Chalong Phuket and youll hit a spot youll like.
